If your parcel contains any prohibited items, it will be returned or disposed of, and an additional return fee may apply.
We are not liable for loss of or damage to a shipment of any prohibited item or suspected prohibited item (as reasonably determined by Orange Connex (AU)). You agree to indemnify Orange Connex (AU) for any and all costs, fees and expenses Orange Connex (AU) incurs as a result of your violation of any local laws or regulations or from sending any prohibited item or suspected prohibited item for shipment.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
- Antiques and works of art
- Refrigerated / Perishable Goods (e.g., foodstuffs, vitamins and supplements)
- Framed items containing glass and mirrors whereby the internal and/or external packaging fails to meet Packaging Guidelines.
- Human remains or ashes
- Cash including any form of banknotes, currency notes, coins or other legal tender
- Loose precious and semi-precious stones
- Bullion (of any precious metal), raw materials, and raw stones.
- Items resembling firearms, fireworks, ammunition, explosives, explosive devices or test pieces, (air) guns, toy guns, Softair (BB) firearms, Trip Alarms capable of firing explosive ammunition, weaponry and their parts, replica or imitation firearms. Knives (Regardless of the length of the bladed objects) and other weapons.
- Live goods (including but not limited to living plants, animals, fish and birds), as well as animal specimens, furs, and real human hair etc.
- Illegal goods
- Liquids
- Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods
- Products with batteries that are not allowed to be transported by Orange Connex (AU).
- Any organic garden products (e.g., bare-rooted or potted plants of any variety including seedlings, bulbs, cut flowers, foliage, fruit, vegetables, as well as potting mix, compost, fertiliser, organic matter, honey)
- Banderols or tax stickers
- Cigarettes and tobacco products
- Furs and ivory
- Jewellery, all watches, precious metals
- Negotiable instruments in bearer form (whether cash-like or not)
- Obscene or immoral articles/materials
- Narcotics and psychotropic substances
- Anything dirty/greasy that will impact other parcels and equipment, for example, used car parts.
- Personal effects, being privately owned items, which are used / second-hand and usually worn/carried on the person, such as clothing and jewellery; and objects imbued with sentimental significance such as hair and family photo albums
- Vital Documents and Gift Cards (Including but not limited to: Gift cards, tenders, birth certificates, travel papers, photocopied papers and any documentation on USB sticks)
- Furniture (e.g., glass sheets, mirrors, antiques and artwork)
- Chemicals, chemical laboratory supplies, a variety of powerful poisons, biochemicals, infectious substances, Radioactive substances
- Dangerous/hazardous goods including but not limited to airbags, perfumes, aftershaves, aerosols, flammable substances (such as candles, table tennis balls, mercury, lighters, asbestos), dry ice, biological substances, Ozone depleting substances / synthetic greenhouse gases, Radioactive substances, UN classified dangerous goods and any goods specified as such under International Air Transport Association regulations (“IATA”), the Agreement on Dangerous Goods by Road (“ADR”) or International Maritime Dangerous Goods (“IMDG”) regulations.
