Preparing Your Parcel
Ensure your parcels are measured correctly, labelled properly, and compliant with battery regulations to prevent delays or extra charges.
Weight & Dimension Limits
Weigh & Measure accurately: For large-sized, lightweight parcels, charges are calculated based on whichever is greater: actual weight or dimensional weight.
Final Settlement: Final billing charges will reflect the official weight and volume measured during processing.
Shipping Label Requirements
- All parcels must have an order label securely attached to each order.
- Label Size: Standard dimensions are 10 × 15 cm.
- Parcel Requirement: The largest face of your parcel must be larger than 10 × 15 cm so the label can sit flat.
How to label your parcel:
- Print the thermal order label clearly.
- Affix the label to the top flat surface of your order container.
- Smooth out the label to ensure there are no air bubbles, wrinkles, or unsecured edges.
Special Packaging: Lithium Batteries
Orange Connex (Australia) permits the shipment of certain lithium battery types without a formal Sender’s Declaration, provided strict packaging and compliance rules are followed.
Important Labelling Rules
Ensure the label is completely visible on a single flat surface—never wrap it across seams or edges. Do not apply tape, wrappings, or plastic covers over the barcode. Clear coverings cause reflections that render barcodes unreadable by automated scanning systems.
