Orange Connex supports the shipment of specific types of lithium batteries through OrangePAK. However, due to potential fire hazards if mishandled, it is the sender's responsibility to understand and adhere to proper packaging, labelling, and regulatory requirements.
The supported battery types are:
- Lithium Ion contained in equipment (PI967 SEC2)
- Lithium Ion packed with equipment (PI966 SEC2)
- Lithium Metal contained in equipment (PI970 SEC2)
- Lithium Metal packed with equipment (PI969 SEC2)
Important Notes:
- The battery mark must be prepared and affixed by the sender where applicable.
- Shipments failing to meet packaging requirements may be returned or disposed of without prior notice.
